ARCHICAD
This project was my introduction to documentation of Architectural projects. The brief was to design and document a residential building based on specifications of the assigned client. The project which simulated real life architectural processes, required careful examination of the Building Code enabling me to learn BIM and the responsibilities of a draftsman.
The design of the house was practical, concentrating on the budget and needs of the client.
In this Project I was able to put to the test what I had learned about ArchiCad and also the New Zealand Building Code. Designing based on the Building Code and getting used to the restrictions of NZS 3604:2011, was an interesting task in order to get a distinct insight on how important drafting is for the Building industry.
