SKETCH UP
A design project dedicated to a chosen deity made solely out of one material.
Phileo, meaning 'brotherly love' in Greek, was a steel cathedral dedicated to the Judeo-Christian God, Jehovah. It intended to imbue a structure with the concepts of brotherly unity, servitude and humility preached in early Christianity.
Steel was the chosen material and it served as a symbol of character and humanity which when in contact with fire (Spirit of God) is transformed and made stronger reminding modern audiences of how allowing God to act through them by acts of humility and service towards others should empower them in being better people.
